NodeMaven Review: Real Prices, Fine Print and Who Should Skip It

TL;DR: This NodeMaven review covers its proxies, Scraping Browser, real prices, fine print and fair alternatives. NodeMaven is a solid pick for sticky sessions and account work. The “from $2.20/GB” rate needs a big plan, though. Small buyers pay $8.50 for 2 GB a month or $75 for 20 GB. Start with the $3.50 trial, then buy the smallest monthly plan you will use.

Quick answer card: NodeMaven review says small plans cost $8.50 for 2 GB or $75 for 20 GB, and the $3.50 trial comes first

You found NodeMaven, and the price looks great. Proxies from $2.20 per GB. Then you open the price slider and the small plans cost almost twice that. So which number is real?

That gap is why I wrote this NodeMaven review. I read NodeMaven’s pricing page, product pages and terms on October 17, 2026. Then I checked what independent testers and real buyers say about it.

A quick term first. A proxy is a middleman server that sends your web traffic from a different IP address. An IP address is the number that tells websites where a device is. NodeMaven sells residential IPs from real homes, mobile IPs from phone networks and static ISP IPs that never change.

If you are still comparing sellers, our best proxy providers guide ranks the whole field. Here you get one tool, looked at closely, with the good and the bad.

NodeMaven Review: Is NodeMaven Legit and Worth It?

NodeMaven is a legit proxy provider with a real track record. Proxyway scored it 8.6 out of 10 after testing its residential pool. NodeMaven is worth it if you need sticky sessions or static IPs for account work. It is not the cheapest choice for small, low-cost scraping jobs.

NodeMaven’s big idea is IP quality over raw pool size. NodeMaven says it screens residential IPs in real time with fraud-score filtering before you get them. A fraud score is a rating that tells a website how risky an IP looks.

What the research says. Proxyway’s NodeMaven review, updated October 13, 2026, found 1,954,389 unique IPs in 3.6 million requests over 21 days. Its global success rate was 96.29%, and the US gateway hit 99.00%. In February 2026, Geekflare’s 300-request Google test logged a 99.33% success rate, but average replies took about 3.2 seconds.

Buyer reviews are split. On October 17, 2026, NodeMaven had a Trustpilot score of 3.7 out of 5 from 115 reviews. About 76% were five stars and 16% were one star. On G2, it showed 4.7 out of 5 from 194 reviews the same day.

Pros

  • Residential and mobile proxies share one traffic balance.
  • Sticky sessions last up to 24 hours.
  • Unused traffic rolls over to the next billing period.
  • The Scraping Browser adds no separate fee for rotating residential subscribers.
  • ISP proxies come with unlimited traffic.

Cons

  • The $2.20 per GB rate needs a very large plan.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable, and there is no free trial.
  • Proxyway found the quality filter helped only a little.
  • Some Trustpilot reviewers report flagged IPs and slow support.

What Does NodeMaven Offer?

NodeMaven offers rotating residential and mobile proxies on one plan, static ISP proxies with unlimited traffic, and a cloud Scraping Browser. NodeMaven also adds traffic rollover, cashback on used traffic and a quality guarantee that pays out in bonus traffic.

Residential and mobile proxies

Residential and mobile IPs come from one shared balance. NodeMaven’s mobile page says you can use one traffic balance for mobile and residential proxies. So you don’t buy two packages.

NodeMaven claims 30M+ residential IPs in 190+ countries. Its mobile figure differs by page. The pricing page says 250K mobile IPs, and the residential page says 295K. You can target by country, city and ISP, and mobile adds carrier targeting.

Sticky sessions keep the same IP for a set time instead of changing it on each request. NodeMaven allows up to 24 hours. It supports HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, which are the two common ways tools connect to a proxy.

ISP proxies

ISP proxies are static IPs that look like home connections but run in data centers. They stay the same, so they suit one account per IP. NodeMaven lists unlimited traffic and one IP swap per order, in nine countries including the US and UK.

Independent tests show a catch. In Proxyway’s ISP proxy research from October 9, 2026, 84% of NodeMaven’s US test IPs were classed as residential. Its UK IPs scored 0%, and Hong Kong scored 100%. In the US round, every NodeMaven request went through.

Scraping Browser

A scraping browser is a remote Chrome browser you control with code. It loads pages, clicks buttons and handles CAPTCHAs, the “prove you are human” puzzles. NodeMaven’s version supports Playwright, Puppeteer and plain JavaScript. You can also start a job from a plain-language AI prompt or a template.

The Scraping Browser page sets clear limits. Sessions run up to 30 minutes, and you get up to 50 active sessions and 10 saved browser profiles. Recordings stay for three days. Third-party proxies are not supported.

Extras: rollover, cashback and the quality guarantee

NodeMaven’s pricing page says unused traffic rolls over and you can earn up to 10% cashback. In April 2026, Proxyway reported that cashback starts at 5% and reaches 10% at 500 GB. It comes as extra traffic that never expires.

The same report explains the quality guarantee. You earn $1 in bonus traffic each time a proxy fails to perform. You claim it through support with a screenshot, and the total is capped at 20% of your monthly usage.

How Much Does NodeMaven Cost?

NodeMaven costs $8.50 a month for its smallest 2 GB plan, which works out to $4.25 per GB. A 20 GB monthly plan costs $75, and pay as you go is $90 for 20 GB. ISP proxies start at $2.33 per IP for 30 days. The advertised $2.20 per GB needs a 1,000 GB plan.

Every rotating tier shows a “-20%” label next to a crossed-out price. I label those as promo prices below. NodeMaven shows no end date for that discount. It does not sell yearly billing.

Plan Monthly billing Yearly billing (per month) Yearly total What you get / who it is for
Paid trial $3.50 one time for 750 MB Not offered Not offered Premium proxy traffic to test. Anyone new.
Billed monthly, 2 GB $8.50 ($4.25/GB) Not offered Not offered Smallest plan. Light tasks and testing.

NodeMaven plans table: trial $3.50 for 750 MB, 2 GB $8.50/mo, 20 GB $75/mo promo, pay as you go $90 for 20 GB, ISP from $2.33 per IP

Promo code: Use SHR35 at checkout for 35% off.

NodeMaven’s pricing FAQ says it doesn’t offer a free trial. Instead you pay $3.50 for 750 MB of premium proxy traffic. That works out to about $4.67 per GB. Pick it if you want to check your target sites before you commit.

Billed monthly: from $8.50 for 2 GB

The pricing FAQ says the lowest monthly plan starts at $8.5 for 2 GB. On October 17, 2026, the slider showed 20 GB for $75 and 40 GB for $138, both on promo. Monthly plans renew on their own until you cancel. Pick this if your usage is steady.

Pay as you go: $90 for 20 GB

Pay as you go costs more per GB. On the same day, 20 GB cost $90 and 40 GB cost $164 on promo. NodeMaven says cashback and rollover apply to both plan types. Pick it if your traffic jumps around from month to month.

ISP proxies: from $2.33 per IP

The ISP price was $2.99 per IP when we read it on October 7, 2026. Ten days later the page showed $2.33. The page also says to select 2+ proxies to get a discount code. So your price for one IP may differ. Pick ISP if you run accounts that need one IP that never changes.

Scraping Browser: proxy traffic only

NodeMaven says the browser has no separate fee if you hold an active rotating residential subscription. You pay only for the proxy traffic your sessions use. CAPTCHA solving, the live browser view and recordings come at no extra cost. Pick it if you scrape pages that need a real browser.

Hidden Costs and Real-World Bills

Buyer's checklist before paying NodeMaven: run the trial, budget regular prices, no refunds, check ISP quantity price, confirm promo code

NodeMaven’s price list is fairly simple. The fine print still matters. Here is what the sticker price does not tell you.

  • No refunds on subscriptions. The terms and conditions say subscription purchases are non-refundable. Cancelling stops the next charge at the end of the billing period.
  • Auto-renewal. Plans renew on your saved card or wallet. The terms say you may not get a separate notice before a trial ends.
  • Crypto refunds in USDT. If a refund applies to a crypto payment, NodeMaven pays it back only in USDT (Tether).
  • The promo label. Every rotating tier shows a “-20%” discount with no end date. Plan for the regular price, such as $93.75 for 20 GB.
  • ISP quantity rules. The discount code needs 2 or more IPs. The 90-day price is not shown until you configure an order.
  • Scraping Browser fine print. The free browser needs a rotating residential subscription. Long jobs must finish within 30 minutes.
  • ID checks. The terms let NodeMaven ask for documents to confirm your identity or business at any time.

Now for real bills. I priced three common setups with NodeMaven’s October 17 prices and checked the math in Python. All rotating prices are the promo prices shown on the page.

Scenario Plan used Math Cost
Solo tester checking a few sites Trial, then 2 GB monthly $3.50 + $8.50 x 12 months $12 first month, $105.50 first year
Small team scraping 20 GB a month 20 GB billed monthly $75 x 12. Pay as you go: $90 x 12 $900 a year ($1,080 pay as you go)
Account manager with 10 static IPs ISP, 30-day terms 10 x $2.33 x 12 terms $23.30 per 30 days, $279.60 for 12 terms

The small team should watch the promo label. At the regular $93.75, 20 GB a month comes to $1,125 a year. That is $225 more than the promo math. The ISP total assumes the $2.33 rate holds for every renewal, which NodeMaven does not promise.

Who Should Use NodeMaven, and Who Should Skip It?

NodeMaven suits you if you manage many social or ad accounts, need sticky sessions up to 24 hours, or want residential and mobile IPs on one balance. Skip NodeMaven if you need the lowest price per GB on small plans, a refund window or a free trial.

NodeMaven picks by use case: paid trial for testing, 20 GB monthly for scraping, ISP for multi-account work, Scraping Browser for browser jobs

Here is how I would match NodeMaven to your job.

  • Multi-account work. Use ISP proxies from $2.33 per IP. One fixed IP per account keeps logins steady. Our best ISP proxies roundup ranks NodeMaven first for this.
  • Social media and mobile apps. Use the shared residential and mobile plan. Compare carriers in our mobile proxy guide.
  • Web scraping. Use a monthly residential plan or the Scraping Browser. See how it compares with rivals in our web scraping proxies list.
  • Price checks and SEO tracking. Rotating residential IPs work well here. Our residential proxy rankings show the full field.

Now the other side. Skip NodeMaven if you need UK ISP IPs that look residential, since Proxyway’s test scored them 0%. Skip it if you want proof of quality before you pay, because there is no free trial or refund. And skip it if you move under 2 GB a month and want traffic that never expires.

Reviews also show mixed support. Some Trustpilot reviewers say IPs were flagged as proxies or that support closed cases without a fix. NodeMaven replied to 93% of negative reviews there.

How to Pay Less, and Cheaper Alternatives

You can cut your NodeMaven bill in a few honest ways.

  • Use the promo code. SHR35 gives you 35% off. Confirm at checkout which plans the code covers.
  • Pick monthly over pay as you go. 20 GB costs $75 monthly versus $90 on pay as you go.
  • Buy the trial first. $3.50 is cheaper than a wrong monthly plan you cannot refund.
  • Use rollover and cashback. Unused traffic carries over, and cashback adds traffic back to your balance.

If NodeMaven doesn’t fit, these three providers have confirmed prices. Each one wins on a different point.

How We Researched This Guide

I read every NodeMaven price on its pricing page, product pages and terms on October 17, 2026. Some figures, like the 1,000 GB tier and the old $2.99 ISP rate, come from our earlier read on October 7, 2026, and I say so where they appear.

We did not test NodeMaven ourselves. Speed and success numbers come from Proxyway and Geekflare, and buyer ratings come from Trustpilot and G2. Claims about IP quality, pool size and support are NodeMaven’s own.

We could not confirm the ISP price for a single IP, the 90-day ISP price, or whether the “-20%” label is temporary. NodeMaven calls its support “24/7” with proxy experts, but we could not confirm who answers the chat.

SaasHyre earns a commission if you buy through our NodeMaven links, at no extra cost to you. It does not change our verdict. Read our editorial policy for how we pick and rank tools.

The Bottom Line

NodeMaven is a real, well-reviewed proxy provider. It shines for sticky sessions, static ISP IPs and account work.

Keep three things in mind. First, the $2.20 per GB rate needs a 1,000 GB plan, so expect $3.75 to $4.25 per GB on small plans. Second, subscriptions are non-refundable, so test before you commit. Third, the “-20%” promo has no end date, so budget for the regular price.

Your next step is simple. Buy the $3.50 trial, run it on your real target sites, and then pick the smallest monthly plan that covers you. Use code SHR35 at checkout. A good proxy setup saves you hours of blocked requests, and the right plan keeps your bill small.
