The right proxy depends on what you are doing and how you are billed. Residential and mobile proxies are usually priced per GB of traffic, while ISP and datacenter proxies are usually priced per IP. Our proxy guides list each provider’s published entry price, the billing model that decides your real bill, and who should pick something else.
Proxy types, in one line each
Residential proxies: IPs assigned by home internet providers. Hardest to block, usually billed per GB.ISP (static residential) proxies: residential-registered IPs hosted in data centers. Fast and sticky, usually billed per IP.Datacenter proxies: cheapest and fastest, but easiest for sites to detect.Mobile proxies: IPs from 4G/5G carriers. Highest trust, highest price per GB.
How we check proxy pricing
Every price in these guides is read off the provider’s own pricing page and labeled if it is a promo, a minimum commitment, or quote-only. Pay-as-you-go and monthly plan rates are listed separately because they can differ a lot for the same traffic.
