TL;DR: Decodo is the new name for Smartproxy, so Decodo pricing is today’s Smartproxy pricing. Residential proxies cost $4 per GB on pay as you go, or $11.25 a month for 3 GB. The advertised $2 per GB only applies to the 1,000 GB card at $2,000 a month. Mobile prices are a 50% promo with no end date. Price the smallest plan that fits your job, not the “from” label.

Searching for Smartproxy pricing? Smartproxy changed its name to Decodo in April 2025, per Proxyway. So Decodo pricing is what you pay today.
Here is the pain. Decodo’s pages say residential proxies start “at just $2/GB.” That rate only shows up on the 1,000 GB card, which costs $2,000 a month. A small buyer pays $3.75 to $4 per GB.
A quick term first. A proxy is a middleman server that sends your web requests from a different IP address, the number that identifies a device online.
I read every tab on Decodo’s pricing pages on October 7, 2026. That includes the Enterprise switch that many price lists miss. We didn’t test these proxies, and Decodo doesn’t pay us to be here.
One note before the numbers. This guide is for legal business jobs, like price monitoring, SEO checks, ad verification and collecting public data. Check each site’s terms and your local law before you start.

How Much Does Decodo Cost in 2026?
Decodo costs $4 per GB for pay-as-you-go residential proxies, or $11.25 a month for the 3 GB plan. Shared ISP proxies start at $3 a month for 1 GB, datacenter proxies at $6 for 10 GB, and mobile proxies at $7.50 for 2 GB on a 50% promo. Every card adds VAT.
Every card says “+ VAT billed monthly.” I found no yearly plan on any Decodo proxy page. The table shows the cheapest way to start with each product.
| Product or plan | Price to start | Unit price | Billing basis | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Residential, pay as you go | $4 for 1 GB | $4/GB | Prepaid Wallet | Rotating home IPs, 1 GB at a time |
| Residential, 3 GB plan | $11.25/mo | $3.75/GB | Monthly | The smallest subscription |
| Residential, 1,000 GB (Enterprise) | $2,000/mo | $2/GB | Monthly | The card behind the “$2/GB” label |
| Shared ISP, pay per GB | $3/mo for 1 GB | $3/GB | Monthly | Static home-type IPs |
| Shared ISP, pay per IP | $4.70/mo for 10 IPs | $0.47/IP | Monthly | 10 fixed IPs, data cap not printed |
| Dedicated ISP | $9.99/mo for 3 IPs | $3.33/IP | Monthly | Static IPs only you use |
| Datacenter, pay per GB | $6/mo for 10 GB | $0.60/GB | Monthly | Shared server IPs |
| Datacenter, pay per IP | $3.50/mo for 100 IPs | $0.035/IP | Monthly | 100 shared IPs, traffic not printed |
| Dedicated datacenter | $5.55/mo for 3 IPs | $1.85/IP | Monthly | Server IPs only you use |
| Mobile, 2 GB plan (promo) | $7.50/mo | $3.75/GB promo, $7.50 regular | Monthly | Phone carrier IPs at 50% off |

What changed in 2026: Proxyway’s 2026 proxy market research reports that Decodo removed its long-running 40% to 50% coupon codes. It also says Decodo made its permanent plans about 25% cheaper. Decodo’s banner now reads “no coupon needed.”
Decodo Pricing by Product: Every Plan Explained
Each pricing page has tabs and an Enterprise switch for bigger cards. Per GB means you pay for the data you move. Per IP means you rent a fixed address for the month.
Residential proxies (per GB)
A residential proxy sends your requests through a real home internet connection. Decodo’s pool rotates, which means you can get a new IP on every request. Decodo’s residential pricing page lists five monthly plans. They are 3 GB for $11.25, 10 GB for $35, 25 GB for $81.25, 50 GB for $150 and 100 GB for $275.
Rates fall from $3.75 to $2.75 per GB as you go up. The Enterprise tab adds two cards, 250 GB for $625 and 1,000 GB for $2,000. There is no 500 GB card.
Pay as you go costs $4 per GB from a prepaid Wallet. You can buy only 1 GB at a time, and you can’t hold a subscription and pay as you go together.
Decodo says the pool has 115M+ IPs in 195+ locations, with targeting down to city and ZIP code. To compare pools, see our best residential proxies guide.
We didn’t test the pool, but Proxyway did. Its 2026 research measured a 99.92% success rate for Decodo against a simple test page. On Amazon, Google and Instagram, the median across all tested providers was 74.43%. Proxyway earns affiliate commissions and says so.
ISP proxies (per GB and per IP)
An ISP proxy is a static IP that runs on a server but is registered to a home internet provider. You keep the same address. Decodo’s ISP pricing page sells them three ways.
- Shared, pay per GB. Plans run from 1 GB for $3 to 250 GB for $450. Enterprise cards go up to 2,000 GB for $2,600.
- Shared, pay per IP. Plans run from 10 IPs for $4.70 to 2,000 IPs for $600. Enterprise cards go up to 8,000 IPs for $2,160.
- Dedicated. Plans run from 3 IPs for $9.99 to 200 IPs for $500. Enterprise cards go up to 2,000 IPs for $4,000.
Shared means other customers use the same IP. Dedicated means only you do. Pick pay per GB if you want many IPs and move little data. Pick pay per IP if you want a fixed set of addresses.
Also check your country. Proxyway’s 2026 ISP proxy test found that IP databases classed 100% of Decodo’s US test IPs as residential. For its UK test IPs, the share was 0%. Our best ISP proxies guide compares more sellers.
Datacenter proxies
A datacenter proxy is an IP from a cloud server. It’s fast and cheap, but strict sites block it more often. Decodo’s datacenter pricing page also has three tabs.
- Shared, pay per GB. Plans run from 10 GB for $6 to 1,000 GB for $450. Enterprise cards go up to 10,000 GB for $3,800.
- Shared, pay per IP. Cards run from 100 IPs for $3.50 to 15,000 IPs for $300.
- Dedicated. Plans run from 3 IPs for $5.55 to 200 IPs for $270. Enterprise cards go up to 2,000 IPs for $2,300.
Be careful with pay per IP. Decodo’s FAQ says it covers both IPs and GBs, but the cards don’t print how much traffic you get. So don’t treat $3.50 as your full bill until checkout shows it.
Not sure which type you need? Read residential vs datacenter proxies first.
Mobile proxies (promo vs regular)
A mobile proxy uses an IP from a phone carrier’s network. Every card on Decodo’s mobile pricing page carries a “SAVE 50%” label and a crossed-out regular rate. I saw no promo code and no end date.
Promo prices today are $7.50 for 2 GB, $28 for 8 GB, $81.30 for 25 GB, $150 for 50 GB and $275 for 100 GB. Pay as you go is $4 per GB, down from $8.
Regular rates are double. By our math, those five plans would cost $15, $56, $162.50, $300 and $550 a month without the promo. Budget on those numbers. For other sellers, see our best mobile proxies guide.
Web Scraping API
Don’t want to manage proxies at all? Decodo’s Web Scraping API does it for you. Its page shows a free plan, paid plans from $19 a month and a “from $0.09 per 1K requests” label.
Why Does Decodo Pricing Say “From $2 per GB”?
Decodo pricing labels that say “from” show the rate on the largest Enterprise card, not the price to start. Residential proxies at $2 per GB need the 1,000 GB card at $2,000 a month. The smallest residential plan costs $3.75 per GB, and pay as you go costs $4.
| Label on Decodo’s site | Card you must buy | Monthly bill | What a small buyer pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residential “starting at just $2/GB” | 1,000 GB | $2,000 | $3.75/GB on 3 GB ($11.25) |
| Shared ISP “From $1.30/GB” | 2,000 GB | $2,600 | $3/GB on 1 GB ($3) |
| Shared ISP “From $0.27/IP” | 8,000 IPs | $2,160 | $0.47/IP on 10 IPs ($4.70) |
| Dedicated ISP “From $2/IP” | 2,000 IPs | $4,000 | $3.33/IP on 3 IPs ($9.99) |
| Mobile “Starting at just $2.25/GB” | 500 GB | $1,125 on promo | $3.75/GB on 2 GB ($7.50 on promo) |
The mobile label has a second catch. $2.25 is the promo rate. The regular rate on that card is $4.50 per GB, which is $2,250 a month by our math.
Two labels are simply out of date. The compare table on the datacenter page prints “From $0.10/IP” and “From $2.50/IP.” Neither one matches a card. Real cards run from $0.035 to $0.02 per shared IP, and from $1.85 to $1.15 per dedicated IP.
What Is Not in the Decodo Sticker Price?
Decodo’s sticker price leaves out VAT, the end of the 50% mobile promo and IP replacement fees of $0.30 to $0.70 per IP. The 3-day free trial needs a payment method and cancels the 14-day refund. The refund itself stops at 20% of your traffic or 1 GB, whichever comes first.

Run through this list before you pay.
- VAT. Every card says “+ VAT.” Your tax depends on where you are.
- The mobile promo can end. No end date is shown, and regular rates are double.
- Rollover is not confirmed. I found no line saying unused plan GB carry over. Plan as if they don’t.
- Pay as you go expires. Decodo’s pay-as-you-go docs say the traffic lasts 12 months, or until you buy a residential subscription.
- The trial has strings. Decodo’s trial rules give you 100 MB for 3 days. You must add a card, PayPal or Google Pay, and your plan starts by itself when the trial ends.
- The refund is narrow. Decodo’s refund policy covers your first purchase for 14 days. It excludes crypto payments, Enterprise plans and anyone who used the free trial.
- Swapping IPs costs extra. Decodo’s IP replacement docs list $0.70 per IP on dedicated ISP. Shared pay per IP swaps cost $0.30 each.
- Some sites are blocked. Banking, government, ticketing, mailing and streaming sites are blocked by default. Decodo’s ID verification page says a check opens mailing, business and streaming targets on rotating residential plans.
One refund detail conflicts. The residential pricing FAQ says Enterprise buyers can get a refund under 10% usage. The refund policy page excludes Enterprise plans. I’d trust the stricter page.
Last, ask where the IPs come from. Decodo calls its residential pool “ethically-sourced.” That is Decodo’s claim. Google’s Threat Intelligence Group says ethical sourcing claims need auditable proof of user consent.
What Does Decodo Really Cost for 5, 50 and 250 GB a Month?
Decodo costs $20 a month for 5 GB of residential traffic on pay as you go, $150 for the 50 GB plan and $625 for the 250 GB Enterprise card, by our math. Over 12 months that is $240, $1,800 and $7,500 before VAT. Mobile costs the same today, but only on promo.
For each case, I picked the cheapest published option that covers the traffic.
| Product | 5 GB a month | 50 GB a month | 250 GB a month | 12 months at 50 GB |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Residential | $20 (pay as you go, 5 x $4) | $150 (50 GB plan) | $625 (250 GB card) | $1,800 |
| Mobile, on promo | $20 (pay as you go, 5 x $4) | $150 (50 GB plan) | $625 (250 GB card) | $1,800 |
| Mobile, at regular rates | $40 (5 x $8) | $300 (50 x $6) | $1,250 (250 x $5) | $3,600 |
| Shared ISP, pay per GB | $27.50 (10 GB plan) | $112.50 | $450 | $1,350 |
| Shared datacenter, pay per GB | $6 (10 GB plan) | $28.50 | $127.50 | $342 |
Pay as you go at $20 beats the 10 GB residential plan at $35. The 10 GB plan only wins once you use about 9 GB a month.
If the mobile promo ends, the same 50 GB jumps from $150 to $300 a month. That is $1,800 more over a year.
Need fixed IPs and not GB? At 100 IPs, shared ISP costs $35 a month and dedicated ISP costs $260. That is more than 7 times the price, so start shared.
Who Should Pick Decodo, and How to Pay Less

Decodo fits you if you want small plans and all four proxy types in one account. Here is how I’d match a product to your job.
- Testing or uneven traffic. Pick residential pay as you go at $4 per GB. You pay nothing in a quiet month.
- Steady scraping near 50 GB. Pick the 50 GB residential plan at $150 a month, or $3 per GB.
- The same IP all month. Pick shared ISP pay per IP. 10 IPs cost $4.70 a month.
- Easy sites at high volume. Pick datacenter pay per GB. 10 GB costs $6 a month.
Who should skip it? Skip Decodo if you want the lowest price per GB, a yearly discount or a mobile price that can’t change. Above 1,000 GB of residential traffic, you must contact sales.
To pay less, use only what Decodo offers itself.
- Move up a tier. Residential rates fall from $3.75 per GB at 3 GB to $2.75 at 100 GB.
- Try datacenter first. It costs $0.60 per GB, against $3.75 for residential.
- Choose trial or refund. You can’t have both. The 3-day trial gives 100 MB. The 14-day refund lets you use up to 1 GB.
Still too pricey? These sellers publish lower residential prices. A lower price doesn’t mean the same results, so test first.
- DataImpulse. DataImpulse residential proxies cost $1 per GB, starting with $5 for 5 GB. City and ZIP targeting doubles the rate.
- Evomi. Evomi’s Core residential plan costs $49 a month for 100 GB.
- Webshare. Webshare’s rotating residential plans start at $3.50 a month for 1 GB.
Oxylabs costs more to start, at $6 per GB on its $30 plan. Our Oxylabs pricing guide has the full table. You won’t find NetNut here. Krebs on Security reported that the FBI seized NetNut’s domains on July 2, 2026. For the full ranking, see our best proxy providers guide.
How We Researched This Guide
We read every price on Decodo’s own pricing pages on October 7, 2026. We opened the rendered pages, clicked every tab and turned on every Enterprise switch.
We could not confirm a few things. They are whether unused plan GB roll over and how much traffic the pay per IP cards include. Anything inside the dashboard or checkout is also unverified.
We did not test these proxies ourselves. Performance figures come from named third parties, mainly Proxyway. The cost tables are our math from printed prices.
No vendor pays to be listed or ranked. You can read more in our editorial policy.

The Bottom Line
Here is what to take away. First, Decodo is Smartproxy with a new name. Second, “from $2 per GB” needs a $2,000 monthly card, and most buyers pay $3 to $4 per GB. Third, mobile prices are a 50% promo with no end date, so budget on the regular rate.
For a first test, I’d buy 1 GB of residential pay as you go for $4. Or take the 3 GB plan at $11.25 and keep the 14-day refund in your pocket.
Your next step is simple. Work out how many GB or IPs your job needs each month. Then price that row for 12 months. You’ll know your real budget in ten minutes.
